Hello everyone!

The turn of a year marks a new chapter for our network. The old HUB has been retired, and the team are proud to announce our new HUB for 2018 onwards, constructed by @TeamFractal. Take your time to explore the new heart of MineHeroes, and as you do keep an eye out for small loot chests hidden among the city. Check out a preview before seeing it for yourself on the network.


Along with the new HUB build, there are also various features to be aware of and try out. These hopefully will be expanded upon in the future as we try to make the HUB the centre of our community.

Parkour System
Challenge yourself to three parkours; easy, medium and hard. Rewards are given upon completing each parkour, and a leaderboard displays the top times for each course.


Updates Board
Any future updates will be displayed graphically on a new board near the spawn point. Check here regularly to get the latest updates before anyone else!



Server Menu
The /server menu has been overhauled to make connecting to your favourite game modes easier than ever. Furthermore, each server description has been updated to be much more aesthetically pleasing.



Social Menu
New /social menu opens up all the essential social media links for MineHeroes, great for new players who want to gain footing in our community.

Over the weekend, we added new cosmetics and made a few adjustments to existing cosmetics

Titles Changes
Titles are now categorised so that it's easier to navigate through the menu.


The categories are:

• 2016
  • All unlockable tags made in 2016
• 2017
  • All unlockable tags made in 2017
• Seasonal
  • Tags only available during holidays and special occasions
• Events
  • Tags obtained from events
• Exclusive
  • Tags given out by admins or require a certain rank.

Access titles by typing /titles. As you can see, we will need a new category for 2018, and that's where you come in! Give us your suggestions and ideas for 2018 tags, we'll be implementing them through out the year!

We will be starting the year by adding these 2 new cool titles that you unlock from chests! (Play minigames to earn chests or buy chests with gems)

Emotes
New Emotes have been added to the server cosmetics list. These are awesome animated heads that you can unlock by playing mini-games and earning chests!



Zume will automatically have access to the Surprised Emote and Supreme will have access to the Angry Emote. Access the emotes menu with /emotes

You can now access the cosmetics menu using the command /cosmetics.
We've added a way to clear all cosmetics enabled, simply type /cosmetics clear

Sign Templates
A new Sign Template system has been implemented to assist players in creating/applying signs easily!



To get started type /signs. Then click a glass pane slot to create a new sign template. You will be promoted with a sign GUI to type out your template. This can be anything from custom messages, to [private] signs, [sell chest] or chest shops.



Once the sign template is created you can now type /signs and click the sign template you made and then any sign you place down will automatically have the text from your sign template! To turn off sign templates, type /signs again and click the glass bottle.

This is very useful if you need to make mass [Sell Chest] signs quickly, ChestShops etc.
By default, ALL players can create upto 5 Sign Templates. Each rank higher can make 5 more sign templates, e.g:

• Hero - 10 Sign Templates
• Elite - 15 Sign Templates
• Titan - 20 Sign Templates
• Legend - 25 Sign Templates
• Ultimate - 30 Sign Templates
• Supreme - 45 Sign Templates

Goodbye 2017
2017 has come to an end which also means that the Christmas Hub has retired along with the present hunt. The hub is now back to normal, but the fun doesn't have to end. Soon we will be adding a new hub to accommodate the game mode changes and goals for MineHeroes in 2018. If you have suggestions for the new hub, please let us know in the comment section down below!

A Fresh Start
Before 2017 came to an end we asked the community to report as many issues as possible so we could start 2018 fresh and bug free! Huge thanks to every one that reported issues, especially the game breaking ones! Here's some of the changes worth mentioning:
