As everyone knows, the irl trades has been allowed for a long period. However, irl deal scams still happens everywhere. The concerning part is that players who got irl deal scammed, the scammed items can be refunded or not. The important point is that irl deals featured in rare items such as Auto Sell Chests and a huge amount of In Game Balances, or even IGS / SFS. Those items should be refunded or ways to be returned when the specific player who have been confirmed got scammed by the following reasons.

    1. Irl deals carries rare items, besides of a nice community built in skyblock servers, players often aim for selling in-game items for irl money. This is also one of the motivation for players to stay on Mineheroes. However, if the items got scammed and cannot be refunded, even through the scammer got banned, he still take a big advantage. When the items cannot be refunded, players who worked hard on reaching the items will be more unfair since they lost the items without any reasons or in any fair ways.

    2. Whenever they check the chat logs history, or Paypal images / payment records, the staffs can easily know if someone got scammed or not by looking at them. However they have to gather enough in-game messages to proof that they trade the items for the IRL deals, and not only discord / other software messages. Whenever the player traded the items to the scammer, the items should be returned to the original item owner whenever they got punished.

Although irl deal scamming problem happens in always, they should not be removed. Everything have both advantages and disadvantages but we have to investigate in it and make the whole system better. Since irl trades is one of the motivation for some MH players.

IRL trading is at your own risk; the server and staff shouldn't be held responsible to refund/spawn in/search for items because the user agreed to and engaged in a trade with a person who wasn't trustworthy.

On top of this, players will take advantage of this in order to gain rare items that may or may have not been "illegally" spawned in. It's happened in the past where staff members were more gullible to fall for such schemes, but thankfully they now take extra precautions to make sure staff themselves are not "scammed."

I do agree that IRL trades do give motivation for players to continue playing the server, especially for those who "work hard" week in and out. However, motivation should not be solely depended on making a dollar in real life currency. At the end of the day, the game mode gives players something to do on their free time, and (in my opinion) shouldn't be treated as a place of revenue. I mean. Scams hardly get dealt with because a lack of proof is provided. So imagine what happens with people who scam with IRL currency involved. This will hopefully help players learn responsibility and to be more cautious when it comes to buying or selling stuff, on MineHeroes and even in the real world

In real life trading.. Staff shouldn't be held responsible for trade scams. YOU risk getting scammed. :) This has been discussed many times and the answer has been "it isn't staff's responsibility". If you think otherwise, make another thread. Thanks.

I personally think that IRL trades should've never been allowed so we wouldn't have to deal with these sorts of issues in the first place. We will never refund items that are scammed in these sorts of trades.

If you Trade in game currency and Irl currency and are the recipient of a scam it is your responsibility to have know the risks involved as stated in the MIneHeroes Rules.
    As stated below:
#9: Exchanging any virtual/actual item for hard currency and/or Virtual MineHeroes Server Store Items is allowed if both parties agree that they understand the risk involved (e.g. future chargebacks, incomplete transactions). Ensure you have taken measures to protect yourself in these cases by taking screenshots clearly showing your and their agreement to the transaction. If a player charges back in your name and you agreed to them purchasing a package for you, you will also be punished. We will not offer any refunds if you were scammed in this instance.
#9.1: Scams involving virtual/actual items and hard currency and/or Virtual MineHeroes Server Store Items will result in a severe punishment.

It is not up to Mineheroes Staff to refund or replace any item that may have been lost in any of those circumstances as it is your responsibility to have know the rules.
