This is a thread that was created by Tanner and @RudeOps, and is designed to help players from any of the three Skyblock servers. It will broaden your understanding of the servers rules and commands as well as telling you new tips and tricks. How do I begin? To begin your adventure on the Skyblock servers, do /is. Once completed, a GUI will pop up asking you to select your island type. Look below for a guide to the Island Types. What Island types are available? There is a total of nine island choices, these being: Default and above: - Classic (Easy) - Frostbite (Easy) - Murky Swamps (Medium) - Feared Wildlands (Medium) - Magma Pits (Hard) Hero and above: - Thora Jungle (Easy) - Enders Paradise (Hard) Titan and above: - Shiren Forest Exclusive to Ultimates: - Thofind Shrooms (Hard) Spoiler: Screenshots Classic Frostbite Thora Jungle Murkey Swamps Feared Wildlands Shiren Forest Magma Pits Enders Paradise Thofind Shrooms Which one do I choose? The choice on which island comes directly down to your experience as a Skyblock player, and what you find visually appealing. If you are new to the Skyblock game mode, pick one of the Easy islands. If you have prior knowledge of the game mode and are looking for more of a challenge, choose a Medium island. And if you have great experience with the game mode or are looking for quite a challenge, you should pick the Hard islands. How do I invite someone to my island? To invite another player to your island, do /is invite [username]. As a default, you will only be able to have four members, however, it is upgradable. How do I upgrade my team cap? To extend your team cap, do /is upgrades and select the nametag. (4) The first upgrade will cost $25,000 (5 members) The second will cost $50,000 (7 members) The third will cost $100,000 (10 members) The fourth will cost $150,000 (14 members) The fifth and last upgrade will cost $250,000 (19 members) How do I coop someone to my island? To coop someone to your island, do /is coop [username] and to remove them, you can either log out or do /is uncoop [username]. How do I trust a player to my island? To trust a player, do /is trust [username] and to remove them do that command again. As a default, you will only be allowed to trust one player, however, you can upgrade the cap in /is upgrades. Level zero ($0): Maximum is 1. Level one ($10,000): Maximum is 2. Level two ($25,000): Maximum is 4. Level three ($50,000): Maximum is 7. Level four ($75,000): Maximum is 11. Level five, the last level ($100,000): Maximum is 16. Ore Gen isn't working! To fix this, you will need to open your /is settings and then click on the 'Ore Generator' block to enable it. Ore Gen isn't generating anything good! To make your Ore Generator spawn more valuable blocks, you will need to upgrade the Ore Gen level in /is upgrade. Level zero (Default): $0 Level one: $12,500 Level two: $25,000 Level three: $50,000 Level four: $100,000 Level five: $150,000 How do I use the shop? To use the shop, all you need to do is /shop. You buy items by left clicking the item, and you can sell items by right clicking. If you are a donor, you are able to bulk buy an item (x64) by doing SHIFT + Left Click on the item. Island Warps It is quite simple to set an Island Warp. All you need to do is place a sign and type [Welcome] on the first line of a sign. YOu can type any message on the other lines, it won't affect the warp Like signs To create a like sign, you will need to place a sign and type [Like] on the first line of a sign. Only the owner of the island is able to create these signs. Lift signs Lift signs are available to players Hero+. To create lift signs, You will need to create a sign saying [Lift Up] on the Second Line and then place another sign at the desired height saying [Lift Down] on the Second Line. Player Shops To create your own player shop, you will need to place down a sign using the format listed below. Please note that the sign must be either on a chest, above or below it. The format to use is: First Line: [Your Username] Second Line: [How many items] Third Line: [Either B/S] [Price] Fourth Line: [Item] How do I lock my island? To lock your island use /is lock. This will make it so that other players, excluding island members and staff, will not be able to warp to your island. How do I ban someone from my island? To ban someone from your island, use /is ban [username]. This will not allow them to ever get back to your island, unless you unban them. How do I use the auction house? To use the auction house, do /ah. To sell an item, do /ah sell [price] while holding the item, and to buy a listing, just click on the desired item and then click Confirm. DISCLAIMER: Please be very careful when using the auction house as people may try to scam you. Use at your own risk! How to prevent valuables from being stolen The most important way to protect the valuable items on your island is to make a Private sign. To create a private sign, you need to place a sign on a valuable item such as spawners, chests, furnaces or doors, and then enter the text on the template below. First line: [Private] Second line: (username) An example of this can be found at /warp info. Default Island size and how to upgrade it The default island size is 300x300 blocks. To upgrade this, use /is upgrade. Level zero (Default) ($0): 300x300 Level one ($50,000): 310x310 Level two ($100,000): 325x325 Level three ($250,000): 345x345 Level four ($500,000): 370x370 Level five ($1,000,000): 400x400 How to change a spawner Changing a spawner is a donator perk and with each rank, you are able to change more spawners. To change a spawner, you must right click it and then select the 'Change Spawner' button. Now, just choose the spawner you want to change it to. Hero +: Pig, Chicken, Sheep, Cow and Zombie Elite +: Zombie, Wolf, Skeleton, Spider, Cave Spider and Mushroom Cow Titan +: Ocelot, Squid, Rabbit, Horse, Silverfish, Blaze and Magmacube Legend +: Endermite, Villager, Creeper and Witch Ultimate +: Enderman, Guardian, Slime, Zombie Pigman Iron Golem spawners are can only be obtained by buying them with tokens at /Token shop or by buying them from other players. How do I view the player with the most money? To view the balance top, type /baltop in-game. Is the Nether accessible? Yes, the Nether is accessible. To access the nether, you need to create a nether portal. There is no warp. Sometimes, you will have to move side to side while standing in the portal. How do I do island challenges? To do island challenges, type /c or /challenges in-game. A GUI will pop up with all available challenges. Challenges give rewards depending on how hard they are. The reward can be items, money and/or exp. How to earn money You can earn money in many different ways. Killing naturally spawning mobs will give you a small amount of money. Farming is also a good source of income. Voting and opening or selling the vote keys if very common too. The best way to make a great amount of money is to create a Mob Grinder using Spawners and selling the drops. My Redstone Clock isn’t working? Redstone on MineHeroes has always been a little problematic. Over time, different redstone clocks have been disabled and enabled. Currently, if you place down repeaters for your timer, it will not work. One of the clocks which does work is the Hopper clock. This involves using a couple hoppers and some redstone blocks.
