    Upgradeable Lava Fishing Rods
    Well, we have upgradeable pickaxes, and fishing rods have no custom enchants whatsoever. So I think its about time fishing rods get some cool new enchants which you can upgrade in similar fashion you can with island pickaxes

    Each upgrade can have certain criteria and/or challenges you have to meet before you can upgrade. Much like how island pickaxes require you to do challenges to progress. To prevent players from simply buying a maxed out fishing rod and skipping all that good progression the game mode needs more of, these fishing rods should only work for the player who upgraded it (maybe the island team as well if you want).

    Bait (10 levels)
    Increases the odds of getting a catch. Each level gives an extra 1%, allowing you to have up to an extra 10% catch chance.

    Reel of Fortune (10 levels)
    Two ideas for this one (And no I do not suggest adding BOTH. It's one or the other)
    #1 Increases the odds of earning extra money from a reel. (Must have at least 1.5k lavafishing mcmmo before you can use this upgrade)
    #2 Increases the odds of finding ore blocks

    For whichever one you choose, each level can grant 1% chance

    EXP Catcher (10 levels)
    Gain EXP as you reel in money. The higher the level, the more EXP you earn per reel

    Just simple enhancements to lavafishing while trying to be balanced and original in some sense. Each upgrade would get progressively more difficult. Some upgrades may even require you to have reached a certain level in your lavafishing skill in order to upgrade (so you pretty much have to fish). I can give examples of some challenges/requirements if asked.

    Starter Islands
    The options for starter islands isn't very exciting. They are just pre-made islands that just look aesthetically different. I think its time we changed this by adding a thing or two to these pre-generated islands.

    Some starter islands can have a farm or two already made for them (the size of the farm depends on how generous you wanna be. They should at least be 8x8 blocks in size). New players who join the server tend to ask how do they build a <insert farm type> farm. Well, you can have islands which can have different types of farms (no spawner farms. Mainly crop-related farms), or even one island that contains every crop-related farm you can think of.

    Not saying these farms should be OP like having a 6 chunk sugar cane farm from y0 to y255 pre genned for you. But something small and subtle for players who are not even familiar with skyblock or farming in general. (If asked I can build some premade islands with farms for free)


    Sugar Cane
    Oh boy back at it again with sugar cane. Harvesters were added once again to allow people to AFK scane farms. Several things to improve sugar cane (since as I stated multiple times now, sugar cane farms take a long time to set up if you're looking for most amount of money possible from it. Unless you wanna add an item/feature which shortens that time)

    - Double the cap for the "farmer" upgrade with sell hoes
    Pretty self explanatory. Will obviously cost more stored crops, and allow you to earn more money while grinding sugar cane.

    - Double herbalism cap
    Factions got theirs increased so why not the same for Skyblock. Especially since you want to encourage sugar cane farms again.

    The fact that sugar cane is only reliable during a 2x sell boost is quite sad compared to lavafishing, which you can jump straight to as soon as you spawn in the world. This is with ALL cash boosts and multipliers (VIP sell bonus, 2x global sell, dragon egg sell boost, 1.5x perm cash multiplier) included.

    Those are all I have so far so yeah

    the fishing rod upgrade idea would fit in well because it would be like the sell hoe upgrading concept, though if the upgrading part was added to the fisherman pet instead of the fishing rod you could set xp/pet level requirements to prevent players just getting the money from another player and maxxing it out within a few seconds, the requierment for fishing xp/pet level would make lava fishing more grindy and would mean the player would have to start their rod from the beginning and slowly progress. if this was added then pets would have to be assigned to the player.
