Vape clients... in a nutshell.
That FOV gave me aids and his ping is terrible. Shows nothing!
chat covers half the screen lmfao
Nah that isn't cheats. If it is, then half your faction would be banned as well just saying
Turn down your FOV btw. Higher FOV makes things smaller on your screen which gives it the appearance that your opponent is reaching
agreed. now I've seen 3 people with a brain on mineheroes
not to burst your bubble, but if you match the fov where megamor can hit him from and the opponent's hits, they're using reach. just to be sure you can count the blocks.
I've played with quake pro for over a year (I removed it less than a month ago) and from all the times I played with it like this, I never saw someone with that big of a reach. Even fighting Cspreach, or Eout, or Nadela, I've never seen such a reach. The way he pvps (absolute bot, doesnt even move properly) makes it even more clear that he's using hacks.
Uhh this proves nothing. Not only does quake pro make the character appear smaller on your screen, but it's also more difficult to look at how many blocks they are actually hitting you from. Not to mention this player can be laggy but gets high cps for all we know. This is why most pvpers fight with lower FOV (usually around 70-100) since 1. It's easier for them to aim at their target better and 2. Makes it easier to see how many blocks ahead they are.
Regardless of anything just said, I do not find this evidence sufficient enough for a ban. If anything, they deserve a screen share (which the server does not do anymore).
I'm gonna have to agree with megamor this time. The other player does hit him from a farther fov that megamor can hit him from.
If someone had of used this video to make a report I would have denied it simply because you can’t see anything with that FOV. Yes it looks like he has reach but if you played on 70-80 FOV I’d say it would look pretty regular. You also have to take into account ping like starry said. With the use of high FOV plus someone who may have high ping such as an AU player it might appear that they are using reach when really it’s just your settings and their 300-400 ping. If you are certain that this player is cheating I’d advise you to turn your FOV down and pvp them again so you can actually see what is going on.
Despite what a lot of people say Cullan’s anti cheat is pretty decent and would have likely caught or logged evidence of cheats. So it is likely that if they were cheating they would have been banned by now.
dont even bother alot of azeron recorded them and posted on reports similar and even worst then this one. but admins choose to deny is as its seems they got a link to some admins
Hate to say it, but it's difficult getting closet cheaters banned, especially without screensharing. Unless the video evidence is super obvious, getting someone banned for closet cheating (using smooth aim assist, kb modifiers or 3.2-4 block reach) is like asking wazez to open staff applications
There are no admins.
If a report is denied it’s because there isn’t enough evidence, not because they are best buds with Cullan or anyone. Like Starry said even with screenshares it’s difficult to catch those closet cheaters - hence why the punishment is so severe. Without scans it’s unlikely a video will be sufficient evidence for a ban.
Still, screenshares would help rid out some cheaters, as I'm not sure all free clients can completely wipe all the evidence from a client before a screenshare. Also I've seen countless people use autoclickers, which if it isn't part of the ghost client, may be easier to detect in a screenshare.
I also disagree with the fact that a report is denied because there isn't enough evidence, as I submitted a report of someone blatantly cheating with an explanation for it was denied. I submitted another report explaining in further detail and it was accepted by a different staff member. Not all the staff team has the same experience with cheats and knowledge about them.
Unfortunately the MH staff do not screenshare anymore as the people who were verified and trained to do so were either demoted or left the team. I don’t have a solution for you as video evidence usually isn’t enough and the staff don’t ss anymore. You really just need to hope that the anti cheat picks it up if they really are cheating.
