    4.10.2 | Factions + OPFactions Reset

    Factions & OPFactions will be resetting on Saturday, the 27th of October @ 4PM EST

    Changelog

    • Fixed sell chest signs not working correctly with boosters
    • Wither King Boss Battle added to Factions/OPFactions. Check with /events
    • Fixed sell wands not working with multipliers, Sell filters and selling booster item
    • Fixed cauldrons taking entire stacks of water buckets instead of 1 per stack
    • Fixed enderman teleporting when taking fall damage
    • Nova crates now give 15 MH Exp on open and Gem crates now give 10 MH Exp
    • You can now remove signs in the /signs GUI
    • Fixed potion effects not being removed when unclaiming land with the f map
    • Personal Experience Booster now works with mining
    • Drinkable potions will now stack when on the ground and update better when in the inventory
    • Fixed stacked MobCoins withdraw and deposit bug
    • The Magnet enchant will not break custom chests & works on glass.
    • Fixed sell tools (hoe) occasionally breaking due to enchants on it
    • Players can now ignore offline players using /ignore
    • Fixed fence gates not blowing up from TNT/Sand
    • Added faction relationship f perm - /f perm menu
    • Added f perm to allow changing who can place/use TNT/Dispensers, Build fperm still needs to be allowed for non-fac members - /f perm menu
    • Added creeper usage/spawn egg f perm - /f perm menu
    • Added f perm for breaking spawners - /f perm menu
    • The player death cooldown has been removed for executioners that are spawned for the event.
      • This means if you die to a boss mob during an event, you can go back in to try again!
    • Added new /f blocklist command alongside blocklist f perm - /f perm menu

      • This feature will allow you to manage what blocks can be broken by faction members in your claims. Blocks in the blocklist will work alongside the build /f perm.
      • Obsidian is included by default
      • To add blocks to the /f blocklist, use /f blocklist add (hand | or block-name)

    • Added MobCoins balance to the scoreboard
    • Global Kit cooldowns reduced - /gkits
    • Spawner stack size set to 4 spawners
    • Creeper Eggs will now drop spawners 100% of the time
    • Added Personal Boosters to crate rewards
    • Added MobCoins to Daily Crates
    • Added Enchant Relics to Daily Crates and Vote Crates
    • Sell Hand advertisement removed from sell messages
    • Shearing merged sheep issue fixed
    • Regular buckets are now stackable upto 64
    • Replaced berserk enchant with money farm on the grinder kit
    • Added aliases for /castle (/outpost, /outposts)
    • Castle fortified time reduced from 30 min to 10 min
      • This is the cooldown period in which you are allowed to capture castle again.
    • Added upgrade for upgrading spawner player activation range - /f upgrades
      • This will allow you to increase the distance needed to activate spawners

    • Faction upgrades will also show your current level now - /f upgrades
    • Players can no longer mine spawners while being raided, the server will know and prevent you from mining them
    • [OPFactions] Creepers no longer drop diamonds and bedrock
    Economy Changes
    • Raw mob drops can now be sold to the /shop
    • Autosell Chest price increased
    • Hopper price increased
    Rule Changes
    Insiding:
    Insiding is still strictly forbidden, however due to some recent events on the server some clarification is needed. If you just left your faction and still have access to it by means of a home, teleport or /back you cannot use any of those means to raid the faction simply because you left. Leaders who want to quit the game or decide they don't want to play anymore cannot mine spawners and or strip perms away on purpose to get the faction raided, this is not allowed.
    You must give the faction away if you have any malicious intent towards your own faction. Punishments for insides are also changing, depending on the severity of the inside and the time of the inside (Example: Near the end of the map) longer bans may be given out. Factions who also collude or are associated with an inside may also get punished depending on the proof.

    Buffer Limit:
    We recently made a poll asking if you guys wanted the buffer limit increased or not. The poll results showed a 50/50 split. As of a result, we will not be changing the buffer limit of 20 chunks.

    Base Size:
    Many players don't know this, but you can have bases up to 5x5 chunks. We've noticed many bases are much smaller due to people thinking that there is a smaller size limit.


    F-TOP Rewards
    The F-TOP Prizes will be paid out weekly this season!
    This will help make factions remain active through out the map and also allow different factions to earn rewards each week.

    Due to the weekly payouts, the rewards have been increased, here are the weekly payouts:

    • 1st Place: $100 BuyCraft Voucher to the Faction Leader
    • 2nd Place: $75 BuyCraft Voucher to the Faction Leader
    • 3rd Place: $50 BuyCraft Voucher to the Faction Leader
    Winners will be determined each week at 4PM EST. Starting 1 week after grace period ends.

    Last map's winners have been awarded.

    Lol pretty much no gameplay changes, but still delayed by a day.
    Weekly ftop is a nice addition, as is not being able to mine spawners, although the way it is described as 'the server will know' is a little disconcerting. Hopefully everything works and hyped to run another map!
    Edit:
    I'm just wondering what the point of makling suggestions is if they get accepted but never implemented. Printer mode, carpet comps e.t.c

    Was hoping to see all the suggestions that were accepted to be on this but it seems it's been debuffed or made the changes from last map feel slightly less impossible to work with. Anyways, I'm glad they added weekly payouts.

    So what we have is just another config map. It's actually such a joke knowing how much work you guys put into reset.Literally can go back 8 maps and it's all the same with a few minor changes. CANT WAIT

    "All the time" this reset took 10 mins out of there time. Gives credit when none of the players got anything they wanted in this changelog?

    Some random thoughts about the changes:

    Thanks, that reduces the disadvantage of people without tons of alts.
    does this mean items like raw beef, rotten flesh, and bottle o' enchant can be sold? No more item filtering or processing needed? Can I now just fart all spawners into a single farm, pipe all outputs to a single sell-chest, and all is fine?
    What's the intention here? I assume to make it harder to safely store and handle spawners, but i don't see how it makes a relevant difference
    So when i want my own spawners, but not pay the mining cost, i better cegg them all myself, which is currently considerably cheaper, given it usually even works on several spawners at a time? Also note that i liked some value being lost in raids, and the total server value not being monotonely increasing
    Finally, spawn becomes less of a minefield.

    Everyone is quick to complain about the developers not getting things done right or fast enough so i though maybe instead of them hearing that it would be nice to say something nice. Im sorry if you feel my comment was not to your liking but i am entitled to thank people i feel deserve it.

    Hope that your experiences improve next season for yourself and others

    there is also the fact that it prob didn't take 10min buck they hd to re-activate everything that CullanP changed during the purge.
    Also the people who get most annoyed are the ones who don't realise what is going on behind the scenes i.e.: the actually coding of the server and all the commands, like if they were the ones trying to update the server i bet it would take them 10 years

    Even if it appears that they haven’t done much, they have. There will always be room for improvement in the same way that there will always be things the playerbase bashes the developers for. However if there were accepted suggestions for factions that aren’t yet implemented they probably should be otherwise that defeats the purpose.

    "Things done" For starters they haven't got things done in like 8 maps. The only thing they've added is castle which they got from origin so I think you should familiarise yourself with that stuff before. Why would we be nice for a re release of last map with practically nothing new.
    Not even going to bother to respond as I'm already losing brain cells as to what you're saying.
